- How does simultaneous interpreting work technically?
The speakers speak into microphones, the sound reaches the interpreters in the soundproof booth via headphones. They in turn speak into microphones, from where the sound is transmitted to wireless receivers with headphones that the listeners carry with them.
That is why it is also important to always speak into the microphone, otherwise the interpreters cannot hear what is being said.

Our working languages are German, English and Italian. Are you looking for translators and interpreters for Spanish, French or Portuguese? Then we will put together a team of interpreters for you from our network.
- How much does an interpreter cost for a conference, meeting, trade fair or for a congress or assembly?
We have a basic fee for presence assignments. This is currently in the higher three-digit range. This covers an eight-hour working day. Travel time and basic preparation are included. The fee can vary depending on the duration of the event or the amount of preparation. We also charge for travel to and from the event, accommodation and meals.
